Mr. Paul Kuira Mutero

PRESIDENT

I began my athletics career in 2003 at the primary school level. In 2006, at the age of 13, I was awarded a scholarship to attend Sendai Ikuei Gakuen High School in Japan, where I studied until 2010. In 2007, I achieved a personal best time of 27:52 in the 10,000 meters. The following year, in 2008, I was a member of the World Cross Country Championships team, where we won a gold medal in the team event. In April 2010, I joined Konica Minolta in East Japan as a professional athlete, where I remained until 2019. I then transitioned to JR East in Tokyo, competing with the team until 2023. Serves as Vice President of the International Foundation for Athletics Development and Talent, helping shape global athlete pathways, build alliances with governing bodies, and support community initiatives. Leveraging strong experience in sports administration, she assists in leadership coordination and promotes fairness in athletics..

Mr. Gilbert Mungai

MANAGER

A Physical Education teacher by profession, currently serving at the Mount Olive International Foundation for Athletics Development and Talent, where they are actively involved in mentoring athletes and supporting their overall growth. With a strong commitment to sports development, they focus on nurturing talent, enhancing performance, and instilling discipline, teamwork, and a passion for excellence among athletes.

Mrs. Esther Bett

MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST

A dedicated Mental Health Specialist at Mount Olive International Foundation for Athletics Development and Talents, responsible for promoting the psychological well-being of athletes within a high-performance environment. In my role, I provide guidance and support to help individuals manage stress, build resilience, and maintain a healthy balance between training and personal life. "THERE'S NO HEALTH WITHOUT MENTAL HEALTH".

Mr. Peter Tuitho

HEAD COACH

Leads training strategy across the club, designing periodized programs for endurance, strength, and speed development. Oversees coaching standards, athlete progression, and competition readiness while ensuring inclusive pathways for beginners through elite performers.
